At least we look peaceful somewhere

I think there is this thick layer of doom, anxiety, fear and ego that is hovering over the planet. And we are all feeling it probably now more than ever. But watching the Artemis Spacecraft shoot into the sky a few days ago and the images of the earth that the astronauts sent in real time, our planet is breathtakingly beautiful. Its hard to imagine from that view that anything other than beauty and peace lives there. If only we could see ourselves from that angle. It would be the most humbling and reviving experience and maybe we would see how trivial all of these transgressions actually are with a new perspective. In the mean time, I'm reading my apocalypse book, just in case.
